Travel Nurse RN - Rehabilitation - $2,362 per week

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions CHS is seeking a travel nurse RN Rehabilitation for a position at Carlsbad Medical Center in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The assignment is for approximately 11–13 weeks, 36 hours per week, working day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform general rehabilitation nursing duties in collaboration with therapy staff.
• Float to Swing, MedSurg, and Stepdown units as facility needs and RN scope dictate.
• Participate in call as required, depending on patient census.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 in a 10‑bed rehabilitation unit.
• Utilize MedHost electronic medical record system for documentation.
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures while providing patient‑centered care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1+ year of recent RN experience.
• Current BLS certification.

Skills

• Proficient with MedHost EMR.
• Ability to float across Swing, MedSurg, and Stepdown units.
• Strong foundation in rehabilitation nursing practices.
• Effective communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary therapy teams.
• Flexibility to accommodate blocked scheduling and variable call requirements.

Schedule

12‑hour day shifts (6:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.), 36 hours per week. Floating and call are required based on census and facility needs; blocked scheduling may be accommodated if noted in the submission.
