About the role

We are seeking a travel nurse RN for a 13-week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. The position requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).

• Number of Beds: 36
• Number of Staff: 10-13
• Day Shift Staff: 1 charge, 6 RN, 3 CNA, and 1-3 sitters
• Night Shift Staff: 1 charge, 7 RN, 3 CNA, and 1-3 sitters
• Patient Ratios: 5/6-1
• Type of equipment: Hoyer/sit-to-stand lift
• EMR: Meditech

Responsibilities

Typical procedures performed on the unit include:

• IV meds/PEG tube feedings/heparin drips
• Wound care

Requirements

Must have:

• 1 year recent Medical/Surgical experience in a hospital setting
• BLS certification

Preferred or nice to have (candidates with these skills will be considered first):

• CRRN certification
• Experienced Rehab Nurse
