Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
• Weekends required
• Call required (no standing call; may be placed on call up to 48 hours as specified in contract)
• Floating required (primarily to med/surg for patient assignments; may float to other units for tasking within existing competencies)

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience as an RN
• BLS certification
• Rehabilitation and/or Med Surg experience

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care for up to 10 inpatient rehabilitation (Swing Bed) patients. May absorb med-surg patients if swing-bed volume drops. These patients require less nurse-intensive care than traditional med-surg patients but no additional specialized skills.

• Patient ratio: 1:10 (Swing Bed patients only)
• Unit size: 10 beds
• EMR: MedHost
• Scrub color: Any solid color
