Job Description & Requirements

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Rehabilitation for a 13-week assignment in Charlestown, Massachusetts. The position starts on August 3, 2026, and works 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, nights.

Essential Work Functions

  • Complete nursing assessment of patients on the unit and document appropriately into patient records
  • Prepare patients for surgery, including educating them about procedures and post-operative care
  • Cookordinate and provide holistic patient care, including mobility support, rehabilitation exercises, and activities of daily living (ADLs), while ensuring adherence to individualized care plans
  • Monitor and evaluate patients’ responses to therapeutic interventions, documenting progress and communicating any deviations or concerns to the interdisciplinary team
  • Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments ensuring proper documentation and compliance with safety protocols
  • Maintain a clean, organized environment and ensure rooms are adequately stocked with necessary supplies and equipment to support rehabilitation care
  • Assist with safe patient transport to and from therapy sessions, diagnostic procedures, or other care areas as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice

Required Qualifications

  • One year of recent experience as a Rehab RN
  • RN license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications

  • ACLS certification
  • NIHSS certification
