Responsibilities
- Providing mental health care in an acute care hospital
- Conducting assessments
- Crisis intervention
- Delivering comprehensive behavioral health services, especially for adolescents
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure (compact accepted)
- Minimum of 3 years psychiatric experience
- Certifications: Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) and BLS
- Recent work history with no more than 90 days gap in past year
- CPI Blue Card certification and SSN/DOB required
Key Skills
- Strong assessment and crisis management abilities
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced psychiatric setting
