Responsibilities
- Performing comprehensive mental health assessments and documenting findings
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
- Monitoring patient responses and adjusting care as needed
- Administering medications and educating patients about their use and side effects
- Supporting patients during procedures and crisis interventions
- Ensuring safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
- Advocating for patients and providing education on mental health conditions
- Completing accurate documentation and participating in quality improvement efforts
Qualifications And Skills
- At least one year of recent behavioral health RN experience
- Valid RN license and current BLS certification
- PREFERRED: ACLS, CPI, among others
- Critical thinking, strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Physical ability to move and assist patients and equipment
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle irregular schedules
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and using PC tools
