Travel Nurse RN - Preoperative - $2,510 per week
Preoperative Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Los Angeles. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to patients preparing for surgical procedures, ensuring safety and comfort. The position requires supervising and coordinating patient care activities related to preoperative processes, working within established standards of care and collaborating with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze patient data relevant to health status
- Develop and implement care plans

- Participate in discharge planning
- Delegate tasks and coordinate duties among healthcare team members while ensuring patient safety and quality care
- Provide education to patients and families
- Coordinate care and ensure compliance with facility protocols
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
- Facility-specific Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Spanish speaking ability is a plus

- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Rotating shift schedule including 12-hour shifts

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
