Travel Nurse RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - $1,810 per week

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse Alexandria, LA. This position involves providing specialized critical care to pediatric patients within a dedicated unit at a healthcare facility. Responsibilities

• Delivering critical care to pediatric patients
• Performing procedures such as spinal taps, port access/discontinuation, intubation/extubation, and managing critical drips
• Working on a 12-hour night shift with a minimum of 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Relevant pediatric intensive care nursing experience
• Education and degree requirements as per state and professional standards

Skills

• Self‑starter, organized, patient‑focused
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Capable of floating to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or Nursery for low acuity cases and to Obstetrics/Gynecology units if qualified
