Travel Nurse RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - $1,849 per week

Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a 13-week assignment in Somerset, Kentucky.

Requirements

• One year of recent experience as a PICU RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification

Qualifications

• Preferred: ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• CCCRN certification

Essential Work Functions

• Explain procedures and treatments to pediatric patients and their families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Prepare and operate advanced medical equipment
• Monitor and interpret vital signs
• Initiate a patient education plan
• Document all relevant history and physical assessments

Physical Abilities

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position
• Move about, move equipment (50-100lbs)
• Push, pull, and bend

• Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel

Mental Requirements

• Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
