Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a 13-week assignment in Shreveport, Louisiana. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and starts on July 27, 2026.

• One year of recent experience as a PICU RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification preferred

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification preferred
• ACLs (AHA/ARC) certification preferred
• CCCRN certification preferred

Essential Work Functions

• Explain procedures and treatments to pediatric patients and their families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Prepare and operate advanced medical equipment
• Monitor and interpret vital signs
• Initiate a patient education plan
• Document all relevant history and physical assessments
• Respond to life-saving situations
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
