Responsibilities

• Provides care to patients ranging from newborns to 18 years of age who need immediate care for traumas, injuries or illnesses.
• Assesses, intervenes and stabilizes a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Must be knowledgeable about general as well as specific health issues due to the range of medical conditions requiring urgent treatment.
• Understands triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Makes quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients.

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Transplant setting
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility
