Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients ranging from newborns to 18 years of age who need immediate care for traumas, injuries, or illnesses.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Maintain knowledge of general and specific health issues relevant to urgent pediatric care.
• Understand and apply triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care transplant setting
• Additional requirements as determined by the client facility
