Responsibilities

• Provide preventative and acute care to children and adolescents in all settings.
• Provide age‑appropriate care to patients.
• Help patients be comfortable with examinations and procedures.
• Perform physical, medical and diagnostic tests.
• Assess for critical signs and symptoms in pediatric and adolescent populations.
• Assist treating physicians during examination, treatment and procedures.
• Provide information, education and support to patients’ family members.

Requirements

• Current BLS and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric RN experience (1‑2 years’ recent acute care experience preferred).
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Capable of lifting 20 pounds routinely, with patient moves requiring up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work in environments with potential exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
