Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $3,298 per week

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Asheville, North Carolina. The assignment starts 10/12/2026, lasts 13 weeks, requires 48 hours per week on 12‑hour day or night shifts, and is a travel employment type. Responsibilities

• Perform neuro and spinal checks
• Apply C‑collars and TLSO braces
• Manage chest tubes, PCA pumps, IV infusions
• Oversee lumbar drains
• Handle feeding tube placement
• Administer blood transfusions
• Utilize equipment such as IV pumps, Skylift, PCA pumps, chest tubes, tracheostomy supplies, patient lifts
• Document care using Cerner EMR
• Float to stepdown and med‑surg units as needed

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Specialty: PCU – Progressive Care Unit
• Discipline: RN
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Neuro and trauma care experience (mandatory)
