About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Augusta, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in a Progressive Care Unit setting.
- Use advanced skills such as ACLS, familiarity with cardiac drips, and insulin drips.
- Perform procedures as required on the unit.
- Document using Meditech.
- Float to areas of competency as needed.
- Operate equipment including Alaris IV pumps, Welch Allyn VS machines, bladder scan, and vein finder.
Requirements
- A current, unrestricted RN license in the state of Georgia.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Familiarity with cardiac drips and insulin drips.
- Experience in Progressive Care Unit settings.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of progressive care unit experience.
- Experience with Alaris IV pumps, Welch Allyn VS machines, bladder scan, and vein finder.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, nights.
