Responsibilities
- Work 12‑hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Guaranteed 48 hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked
- Float to all inpatient units as needed
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Holiday rotation required
- Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours, which can be taken in hour increments as needed
- Care for patients including post‑op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, vascular, arrhythmia, CHF, post‑procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, acute CP/MI, and med/surg overflow including detox, DKA, COPD exacerbation, respiratory failure, and Fem Pop Bypass
- Patient ratio typically 1:4
- Must be able to pass EKG test during first week of hire
