Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $3,200 per week

About the role

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment starting on August 17, 2026 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care including but not limited to solid tumor removal, bowel reconstruction, flaps, fresh tachycardia, new ostomy, TPN/Lipid administration, PICC line management, wound maintenance, NG tubes, and vascular access.
• Work in a 16-bed unit with a patient-to-registered nurse ratio of 1:4-6 and a patient-to-circulating-nurse ratio of 2:1.
• Support staff includes a CNA, receptionist, charge nurse, phlebotomy staffing, and a vascular access team.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN, with 3 years preferred.
• STAC certification required, with 3 years preferred.
• No first-time travelers accepted.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• NICHSS certification required.

Skills

• Port access.
• TPN/Lipid administration.
