Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $3,116 per week

ND Global Consulting Services is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment in Rochester, New York.

About the role

This travel/contract position requires working 4×12-hour night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM) with every-other-weekend coverage. The role guarantees 48 hours per week in a 39-bed acute stroke unit that also cares for other neurological disorders and acute medical patients. Floating within your skillset is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based nursing care in a PCU setting
• Manage a 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio for MedSurg-level acuity
• Perform cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, and respiratory care
• Document patient care using EPIC charting system

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of PCU or equivalent experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12 hours, nights (7 PM – 7 AM)
• Hours per week: 48 (guaranteed)
