Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $3,041 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN position in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Main Hospital, Lee's Summit, Missouri. The unit has 18 beds and approximately 60 staff members (day shift: 1 CNC, 5 RNs, 2 PCT; night shift: 1 CNC, 4 RNs, 2 PCT). Patient ratio is 4:1. Equipment includes Welch Allen vital signs monitors, Alaris IV pumps, EKG, and BiPAP devices. Documentation is via Meditech EMR. Start date: December 14, 2026; duration: 13 weeks; guaranteed 48 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide post‑cath lab care and manage drip titrations.
• Utilize EKG and BiPAP equipment as needed.
• Follow unit dress code: grey scrubs, no hoodies.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) discipline
• ACLS certification
• NIH stroke scale certification

Skills

• Experience with travel nursing, local CNA, and sitter support
• Proficiency in progressive care monitoring and interventions
