Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,043 per week

About the role

A Stepdown RN will monitor patients who require frequent assessment but who aren't unstable enough to need care in a critical setting. This includes monitoring vital signs, detecting change in patient condition, administering medications, and providing hands-on care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety and comfort
• Monitor vital signs and detect changes in patient condition
• Administer medications as ordered
• Provide hands-on care

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of acute care experience preferred
• Experience in progressive care unit setting preferred

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shifts are 12 hours, nights, and the start date is August 3, 2026, with a duration of 13 weeks.
