About the Role
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Saginaw, MI. Provide intermediate care for patients who need more monitoring than a general medical-surgical unit but less than an intensive care unit. Deliver critical care to patients recovering from surgery, medical procedures, or acute conditions, ensuring their safety and well-being through frequent monitoring and assessment.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of orientation as directed by the PCU nurse manager and critical care educator
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Experience in progressive care, critical care, or similar settings is recommended
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate clearly with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team
