Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,035 per week
Job Summary
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Memphis, Tennessee involves providing high-quality nursing care in a specialized unit, following individualized care plans, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes. The RN will supervise nursing support staff and participate in discharge planning and patient education.
Schedule
- Days shift
- 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Active nursing license in the state of Tennessee
- BLS Certification prior to first shift
- ACLS Certification (CIRH only) prior to first shift
- Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent ICU experience
Additional Information
- Performs comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission to develop individualized care plans
- Responsible for timely and accurate documentation of patient care and responses in the medical record
- Initiates discharge planning from day of admission and promotes patient and family education
- Provides direct patient care using the nursing process, supervises ancillary staff, and contributes to a positive work environment through team building activities
- Assumes charge nurse responsibilities following orientation and actively pursues professional development
- Demonstrates safety awareness and maintains compliance with hospital policies

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
