Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,030 per week

Job Summary

The Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within a progressive care setting, focusing on patients with complex medical conditions such as sepsis, respiratory distress, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, psych disorders, and renal issues. The RN will deliver high-quality patient assessments and interventions on a 12-hour shift schedule.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• 2 years of experience in a progressive care environment
• Comprehensive assessment skills
• Peripheral lab draws
• Experience with Gtts including norepinephrine, nicardipine, precedex, insulin, and diltiazem

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Epic electronic medical record system

Additional Information

• Orientation includes modules to be completed on the first day, Epic training if needed, and one day of orientation in the unit.
• The position is located at 8111 South Emerson Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46237, with reporting to the designated unit.
• Candidates must park in designated employee parking areas marked by yellow lined parking spots.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
