AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit position in Newark, Delaware.

This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the Transitional Medical Unit, monitoring and assessing patient conditions, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, including common diagnoses such as COPD, pneumonia, respiratory failure, CHF, GI disorders, cardiac disorders, ventilator dependency, ETOH withdrawal, and kidney disease.
  • Perform timely and accurate documentation using Epic charting system.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Assist with special procedures including endobronchial valve replacement, chest tubes, feeding tubes, chronic tracheostomy, and chronic vents.
  • Float to support other areas as needed.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with 2 years of PCU experience.
  • Compact nursing license accepted.
  • Certifications: ACLS-AHA, BLS-AHA.
  • Previous travel experience preferred.
  • Experience with Epic charting system preferred.

Schedule

  • Start Date: 11/03/2026
  • Duration: 21 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • 12-hour night shifts
  • Every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Pay

Pay Rate: $2,490.00 - $2,617.00 per week (subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
