Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including common diagnoses such as COPD, pneumonia, respiratory failure, CHF, GI disorders, cardiac disorders, ventilator dependency, ETOH withdrawal, and kidney disease.
- Perform timely and accurate documentation using Epic charting system.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist with special procedures including endobronchial valve replacement, chest tubes, feeding tubes, chronic tracheostomy, and chronic vents.
- Float to support other areas as needed.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with 2 years of PCU experience.
- Compact nursing license accepted.
- Certifications: ACLS-AHA, BLS-AHA.
- Previous travel experience preferred.
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
Schedule
- Start Date: 11/03/2026
- Duration: 21 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour night shifts
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation.
Pay
Pay Rate: $2,490.00 - $2,617.00 per week (subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
