About the role

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse responsible for providing high-quality patient care on a Medical-Surgical (MS) Stepdown Unit. This role involves monitoring and managing patients in a transitional care environment, ensuring safety, compliance, and optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient status on MS 1 (PCU/Stepdown Unit)
• Read cardiac strips
• Care for a few pediatric beds

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of PCU experience
• BLS (required)
• ACLS (required)
• NIHSS (required)
• PALS (preferred for candidates reading strips and managing pediatric patients)

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
• 36 hours per week (contracts also available for 48 hours)
