Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday rotation required
- Float to all inpatient units as needed
- Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
Work Environment
- 44-bed intermediate cardiac stepdown unit; fast-paced with high patient turnover
- Patient ratio typically 1:4
- Patient population includes post-op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, vascular, arrhythmia, CHF, post-procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, acute CP/MI, and med/surg overflow including detox, DKA, COPD exacerbation, respiratory failure, and Fem Pop Bypass
Requirements
- Must be able to pass EKG test during first week of hire
- Candidates must have experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips
- Minimum 1 year of strong cardiac experience required (Cardiac SDU, Intermediate Cardiac, or Cardiac ICU)
- Minimum 2 years of IMC/PCU/Telemetry experience required
- At least one prior travel assignment required
- Minimum 1 year of recent EPIC charting experience required
- Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
- Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred

- Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2412
- $500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS
