Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,215 per week

About the role

This healthcare provider is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join the unit specializing in step down care. The role involves managing typical step down patient conditions, including post-myocardial infarction with sheath pull, ADHD, postoperative vascular care, gastrointestinal bleed, and diabetic ketoacidosis, requiring the ability to titrate drips such as Nitroglycerine, Neo, and Cardene.

Responsibilities

• Manage typical step down patients
• Titrate drugs including Nitroglycerine, Neo, and Cardene
• Read strips
• Utilize BiPap and Cpap equipment
• Provide RN coverage on weekends and holidays
• Follow primarily float prn policy

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a step down or similar environment
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• License to submit: Yes

Schedule

• Nights, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 09/07/2026
• End Date: 12/07/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
