Yes, must be strongRequired License, National Certification, Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSSTechnology/Equipment: EMR: Meditech IV Pump: Baxter Med dispensing: PyxisPatient Types/Common Diagnoses: Medical: Sepsis, respiratory compromise, CHF, COPD, DKA, DTs, multisystem failure Cardiac: heart caths, ablations, temp pacers, stable TAVRs, 24h post-CABG, Drips: Insulin, nitro, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, amiodarone, levophed (rare). All drips non-titratingPatient Ratios: 1:3Skills required: Experience with above patient types General PCU skillset, IV starts, central line blood drawsFloating: If yes, where? Travelers are first to float MedSurg Brendan House – LTAC/Nursing Home patients – orientation provided Behavioral Health (formerly Pathways) is a department of Logan Health Medical Center that provides acute inpatient services for mental health and substance abuse – orientation provided ICU to take care of IMC level patientsScheduling: Weekend rotation: every other weekend On call? No Holiday Expectations: Will work 2 out of 3 holidays (if applicable) Approval of RTO: Ok to approve up to 7 days.
