Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,652 per week

About the role

Travel RN position in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a facility in Derry, New Hampshire. Start date: October 19, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts. Employment type: Travel. The unit has 20 beds staffed by 5 RNs and 2 LNAs (flexed with volume), day and night shift RN teams of 5 each, typical patient ratio 4:1, uses GE cardiac monitoring and Hospira IV pumps, and documents in Expanse EMR.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience
• Active compact RN license at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Qualifications

• 2 years of PCU experience (required)
• Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills and critical drip experience (required)

Skills

• Preferred: pre‑post cardiac catheterization and pacemaker patient care experience
• Preferred: prior HCA experience
• Desired personal attributes: self‑directed, confident, positive under pressure, strong communication skills, team player

Floating Areas

• Medical‑Surgical unit
• ICU (for border patients)
• Emergency Department (for ED holds)

Schedule

12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week (typically three shifts). Every other weekend required or equivalent based on staffing needs.
