About the role

The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role involves providing high-quality patient care through comprehensive nursing assessments, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The RN supervises licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, and orientees, ensuring safe and effective delivery of care in the unit.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission
• Participate actively in patient education and discharge planning
• Document all patient interactions accurately
• Contribute to a safe and positive work environment through effective communication and team collaboration
• Assume charge responsibilities after orientation
• Engage in ongoing professional development
• Float rotation may be required

Requirements

• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift
• Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY)
• Critical care experience
• Two or more years of bedside clinical experience preferred
• Appropriate educational background and licensure in nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Critical care experience is highly desired

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
