Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,070 per week

Travel nursing assignment in Kansas City, Missouri for a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).

About the role

This position involves providing specialized patient care within the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting. The role requires delivering high-quality nursing services tailored to adult and geriatric patient populations, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through effective assessment, monitoring, and intervention.

Responsibilities

• Interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac and telemetry monitoring
• Administer IV therapies and blood products
• Provide comprehensive care for patients with cardiovascular, neurological, and respiratory issues
• Float within scope across departments and units as needed

Requirements

• Valid nursing license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including experience with Cardiac Telemetry and adult patient populations
• Proficiency with Epic electronic charting system
• Flexibility to work night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Local candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous charge and teaching hospital experience
• Experience managing dysrhythmias
• Familiarity with neuro, respiratory, and orthopedic care specialties

Schedule

• 13-week assignment: 09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026
• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
• 36 hours per week (3 shifts per 13 weeks guaranteed, including holiday coverage as needed)
