Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,070 per week

Job Summary

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse in Sioux City, Iowa. This position involves providing specialized patient care within the interdisciplinary team, ensuring optimal patient management and recovery. The role requires flexibility to float within the same discipline across local campuses and offers a variety of scheduled orientation sessions.

Schedule

• Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Weekend on-call responsibilities every other weekend

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of previous step-down experience
• BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), and NIHSS certifications required
• First-time travelers are eligible
• Iowa state licensure required
• Valid driver's license
• Recent skills checklist (completed within 1 year)
• Copy of certifications and references including one supervisory reference must be provided at the time of submission
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility, except in Madison where a local address with a 10% rate reduction is accepted

Additional Information

• Orientation sessions are scheduled on various dates from January 19, 2026, through December 21, 2026
• The position involves floating to the Emergency Department when required
• Call Back and Charge/Precept multipliers are in effect, with specified minimums and hourly multipliers for on-call and callback duties
