Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,063 per week

About the role

A Stepdown RN will monitor patients requiring frequent assessment but not unstable enough for critical care. Duties include monitoring vital signs, detecting changes in patient condition, administering medications, and providing hands-on care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety and comfort
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Assess patient condition and report changes
• Provide hands-on care as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio
• Current BLS certification
• At least 1 year of acute care experience preferred

Qualifications

• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills

Pay
