Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $1,981 per week

About the role

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Augusta, Georgia. The assignment lasts 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts. The unit has 29 beds, aims for a 1:4 patient ratio (currently 1:5), and is staffed with unit clerks (UC) and patient care technicians (PCT).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high‑quality and compassionate care to patients.
• Float to other areas as needed, based on competency.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• Specialty experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• ACLS certification.

Skills

• Proficiency with Alaris IV pumps, Welch Allyn vital signs machines, bladder scan, and vein finder.
• Experience documenting in Meditech.
• Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:4–1:5 and work with unit clerks and PCTs.
