Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $1,960 per week

This step down unit position is based in a healthcare facility located in Brookfield, Wisconsin. The role involves providing specialized care to patients requiring a level of monitoring and intervention between general medical-surgical and intensive care. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional to deliver quality patient care and support recovery in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 08/10/2026
• Float rotation may be required, including onsite or to sites within 40 miles
• Unit manages patients requiring step-down care, with additional operational responsibilities including coverage during an established EOH (End of Shift) rotation with staff and adherence to facility protocols, including every third weekend scheduling

Required Qualifications

• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Experience in telemetry and surgical patient recovery
• At least 1 year of Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) experience
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record systems such as EPIC
• Travel experience
• May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with recovery of surgical patients and telemetry units
