Responsibilities

• Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission
• Develops and updates patient care plans
• Participates in patient education and discharge planning
• Communicates effectively to ensure continuity of care
• Supervises ancillary nursing personnel
• Maintains documentation accuracy
• Participates in team building and quality improvement activities
• Ensures safety and environmental protocols are followed
• Manages supplies and equipment
• Contributes to cost-effective patient care
• Assumes charge responsibilities upon orientation completion
• Demonstrates ongoing professional development
• Promotes patient and employee safety
• Utilizes problem solving in decision-making
• Provides calm, competent direction to staff, patients, and families

Requirements

• BLS Certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only)
• Minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
