Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $1,855 per week

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available at a healthcare organization. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, oversee the nursing care plan, and supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. This role emphasizes patient safety, care delivery, and team collaboration in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission
• Develop individualized care plans
• Manage patient discharge planning
• Document patient responses accurately and promptly
• Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs
• Provide supervision and direction to ancillary staff
• Support team building and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Contribute to a positive work environment
• Assume charge responsibility following orientation
• Seek ongoing professional development

Requirements

• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• Minimum 0 years of experience; highly desired: 2 years bedside clinical experience

Schedule

• Night shift
• 12 hours per shift
• Minimum 36 hours per week
