Travel Nurse RN - Palliative - $2,520 per week

Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Palliative for a travel nursing job in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

The facility is an acute care facility that operates as a Level 2 Trauma Center, offering comprehensive medical and surgical services across multiple specialized units. The 4N PCU/Medical-Surgical unit consists of 29 beds and supports a wide range of complex patient needs, providing nurses with a dynamic and well-supported clinical environment.

Responsibilities

The role involves working 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and holiday requirements, with the option to work 48 hours per week. The nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4 on days and 1:6 on nights, with nurse aides available on the unit. The charge nurse takes a smaller assignment, and agency staff are not required to work in the charge role.

Responsibilities include titrating drips, including Heparin and infrequently insulin, diltiazem, amiodarone, and nitroglycerin. Common patient diagnoses include abdominal surgeries, ear/nose/throat surgeries, complex wounds, and general medical cases. Required skills include IVs, drains, ostomies, wound vacs, NG tubes, Foley catheters, and electronic health records.

Requirements

• Intermediate care background strongly preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA); ACLS preferred
• BSN not required
• Must clock in and out at the facility
