TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Los Alamos, New Mexico. Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care. Discipline: RN. Duration: 13 weeks. Shift: 8 hours, days. Employment Type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of patients from pediatrics to adults.
• Develop individualized care plans based on each patient's condition.
• Monitor critical patients for condition changes and report to the physician.
• Determine when patients are recovered and ready to move to a room.

Skills

• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Capable of lifting 20 pounds routinely, with patient moving/lifting requiring up to 50 pounds at times.
• Possess good stress‑coping skills and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience

Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
