Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $2,440 per week

Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN for PACU – Post Anesthesia Care in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. The position starts 10/19/2026 for a 13‑week travel assignment. The role is RN‑specialized in PACU, working 8‑hour day shifts, 40 guaranteed hours per week. The facility is a well‑established hospital providing comprehensive medical services, with a PACU unit equipped for post‑anesthesia recovery and a collaborative team focused on patient safety. Rhinelander is a northwoods city known for its lakes, forests, and year‑round outdoor recreation, offering a peaceful small‑town atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• 8‑hour day shifts
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 13‑week contract
• Weekend and holiday on‑call requirements
• Weekend call approximately 1 weekend every 6‑7 weeks (Friday 3:30 PM or end of shift through Monday 7:00 AM)
• Weeknight call approximately 1 night every other week (beginning at 3:30 PM or end of shift through 7:00 AM the following morning)
• Eligible for 36 hours of low census
• Strong time management, dependability, accountability, and compassionate patient care expected

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of PACU experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Charting experience with Epic required
• Active Wisconsin or compact RN license
• AHA or ARC BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• Must live outside a 50‑mile radius of the facility
