HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in San Antonio, Texas. Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care. Discipline: RN. Start Date: 10/12/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. 40 hours per week. Shift: 10 hours, nights. Unit: Methodist Hospital Adult PACU, located at 7700 Floyd Curl, San Antonio, TX 78229 (Floor SL2, Building). Unit details: 18 bays, 25 staff (Day shift: 1 CNC, 11 RNs, 1 PCT; Night shift: currently 2 RNs on call, shifting to 24/7 coverage). Patient ratios: 1:1 first 30 minutes or ICU LOC; 2:1 when stable. 2 RNs required in PACU at all times when a patient is present. EMR: Meditech Magic.

Requirements

• 2 years PACU experience
• ICU level of care competency
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification

Schedule

Sunday – Thursday, 2300‑0730 (10‑hour night shifts). No on‑call required.
