Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $1,905 per week

About the role

Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity in Winchester, VA. This full-time position involves providing pre-operative, post-operative, and PACU nursing care in an on-campus surgery center. The role requires delivering quality patient care across various procedural and cardiac cases within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative, post-operative, and PACU nursing care in an on-campus surgery center
• Deliver quality patient care across various procedural and cardiac cases within a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in Pre-Operative, Post-Operative, and PACU nursing
• Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system experience
• Valid VA State License or Compact License
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (AHA only)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with titrating drips
• TAVR procedures
• Variety of cardiac and procedural cases

Additional details

• Float rotation to sister units as needed to provide assistance
• Unit has 16 beds, with a patient ratio of 2:1
• Unit setting includes a mix of geriatric and general patient populations
• Scrubs are required in navy color, following dress code policies
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 08/24/2026
