Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $1,760 per week

About the role

PACU - Post Anesthesia Care nurses care for patients recovering from anesthesia after surgery. They monitor vital signs, assess consciousness levels, and watch for anesthesia-related side effects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety and comfort during recovery
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Absorb and analyze patient data to make informed decisions
• Provide emotional support to patients and families
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare providers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Oklahoma
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in PACU/PACU nursing preferred

Qualifications

• Passing scores on NCLEX-RN
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Strong knowledge of anesthesia and recovery processes
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using medical equipment and technology
