Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $1,657 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse for a PACU - Post Anesthesia Care position in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

About the Role

This is a travel nursing opportunity in a hospital setting. The contract length is 13 weeks with a schedule of 12-hour shifts (08:00 - 20:00) and 36 hours per week. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to post-anesthesia patients in the PACU.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes promptly.
• Collaborate with the anesthesia team and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety.
• Document patient progress and care activities accurately using Meditech system.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including dress code and unit guidelines.
• Support patient experience initiatives, such as OAS CAHPS metrics.
• Demonstrate advanced ICU skills, including intubation, bedside monitors, and arterial lines.
• Adhere to scheduling requirements of 12-hour shifts with call rotations.
• Uphold hospital standards for safety, quality, and teamwork.
