About the role

This position presents an opportunity to join a highly regarded team of passionate physicians and nurses within the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The candidate for this role will have the opportunity to work in an innovative, positive, and professionally challenging work environment at this top-ranked, 500+ bed teaching hospital. The facility is a Level 1 Adult Trauma center and Level 2 Pediatric Trauma center, offering big-city amenities with a Midwestern cost of living.

Responsibilities

  • Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in the PACU

Requirements

  • 2 years of PACU experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Active RN license (Compact accepted)
  • PALS certification
  • SSN and date of birth required for compliance
  • Work history with no more than a 90-day gap in the last year

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Meditech

This not-for-profit facility recently opened a children’s hospital, the only dedicated pediatric hospital in the region. It underwent a $36 million-dollar renovation to continue fulfilling its commitment to community healthcare needs. The emergency service includes a Level I trauma center and Level II pediatric center, serving 24,000 patients annually.

Pay

Pay Rate: $1,906.00 - $2,003.00 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
