About the role

• General Orientation is about a week long; training on TEAM (timekeeping system) is included.
• Myjourney modules must be completed ahead of time (8–10 hours on average).
• Cerner EMR required.
• Common cases: traditional general surgery, vascular, endo, robotics (general, GYN, uro), urology, ENT, ortho joint/spine, podiatry; trauma and neuro are excluded.
• Scrubbing is not required but is a plus.
• Charge nurse OR techs are available.

Schedule

• Weeknight/Call: currently 3–4 nights every 4-week schedule due to staffing constraints; minimum 2 nights per 4-week schedule when fully staffed.
• Weekend/Call: currently every 2nd/3rd weekend; should be every 3rd/4th weekend when fully staffed.
• Shift notes: days, every other weekend, first to float, call required.
