Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $3,362 per week

Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Bakersfield, California.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room setting.
• Provide care to patients requiring surgical procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Assist surgeons during surgeries as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care coordination.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience.
• Valid and unrestricted State of California Registered Nurse License (RN License).
• Possess and maintain current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider: 1. Basic Life Support (BLS) card. 2. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) card.
• Maintain all health requirements designated by Kern Medical Center.
• Depending on assignment, incumbents may be required to possess and maintain specific certificates of competency as a condition of employment.
• Knowledge of advanced theory, techniques and practices of nursing; medical terminology, instruments and equipment; the uses and effects of medicines and narcotics.
