Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,363 per week
Job Description
Join the exceptional surgical team at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA! We are seeking a highly adaptable Operating Room RN for a travel assignment at this busy Level 1 Trauma Center. Handling 60-80 cases daily across 28 ORs, this is a phenomenal opportunity to utilize your high-acuity skills across a massive variety of service lines, from neuro and organ transplants to robotics and overnight trauma.
Contract Details
Target Start Date: 08/03/2026
Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Scheduling: Includes a weekend commitment of 2-3 shifts per 6-week block (typically Saturday or Sunday) and a 1-holiday requirement.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years of Level 1 Trauma experience is strictly required. You must be comfortable navigating complex overnight trauma cases, including Neuro, Peds, Transplants, and Procurements. Experience scrubbing and circulating is highly preferred.
Traveler Status: Previous travel experience (at least 1-2 completed assignments) is required; first-time travelers will not be considered for this role.
Certifications: Active BLS (AHA only) required.
Systems: Previous experience with EPIC charting is mandatory.
