36 operating rooms. Unit sees Total Joints, Multi-level spine fusions, Variety of Xi Robotic cases (GYN, Colorectal, General).
Very little ENT, Dental, Eyes or plastics.
Anchorage has many fine restaurants, museums and shopping.
Alyeska Ski Resort for downhill skiing only 40 miles away, and Cross Country skiing is available in the city of Anchorage.
Kenai Peninsula has beautiful coastline and national parks.
About the Role
Travel Operating Room Nurse assignments in Anchorage, AK give you the opportunity to work in a modern surgical department at the facility, a 250-bed acute care hospital.
The hospital provides comprehensive surgical services and is known for advanced technology, including robotic-assisted procedures and a strong focus on patient safety.
You will assist with a variety of surgeries, maintain sterile technique, and document care using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Anchorage offers stunning mountain views, abundant wildlife, and access to outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, and fishing.
Requirements
Registered Nurse, OR
Experience: 2 years
Licenses: RN-AK
Certifications: ACLS-AHA SSN Required DOB Required
Work History: Should not be more than 90 days of gap in last 1 year
Total joints, Neuro and Xi Robots
Preferred Qualifications
EPIC Scrub experience
