Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,960 per week

Job Details

• Work 8-hour day shifts with start times between 5:45 AM and 9:00 AM and end times between 1:45 PM and 5:00 PM
• Call responsibilities required, rotated through trained RNs on weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be ready to make incision within 30 minutes or less for STAT cases
• Cover Pre-surgery/PATT, OR, and PACU areas
• Facility operates 4 suites with 3 running concurrently, averaging 9 cases per day
• Common cases include General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Urology, Podiatry, and Cardiology (pacemakers, lead revisions, etc.)
• Must have PACU or ICU experience as well as OR experience
• Must have experience with General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Urology, Podiatry, Cardiology, Pre-surgery, and PACU
• Scrubbing is not required for RNs
• One week of unit/department specific orientation provided
• Schedule is manager-built
• EMR system used is Paragon
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Must clock in and out at the facility
• Required certification: BLS (AHA)

About the Role

This acute care facility operates a robust surgical services department with four operating suites running three concurrently, supporting a wide range of specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, podiatry, and cardiology. The department is structured to provide comprehensive perioperative care, with RNs covering Pre-surgery/PATT, the operating room, and PACU. The organization is committed to high-quality patient outcomes and maintains a collaborative team environment supported by structured scheduling and thorough orientation for new staff.

Pay
